Namika Peak is located in the Shimshal Valley of Hunza district in Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan. The Namika Peak has an elevation of approximately 6,387 meters (20,958 feet) and is a famous destination for mountaineering expeditions. Namika Peak is known for its challenging climbing routes which require advanced skills and experience. The mountain is also subject to changeable weather which can make climbing extremely challenging. Climbers and mountaineers from all over the world go to the summit to test their strength and take in the natural beauty of the Karakoram range despite their challenges. The area located surrounding Namika Peak is an attractive spot for hiking and trekking. There are a number of hiking paths that provide amazing views of the neighboring nature and mountain peaks. The Shimshal Valley is famed for having a rich cultural legacy and is home to many beautiful ancient villages and interesting historical locations. It also has several high-altitude lakes, such as Shimshal Lake, a well-liked travel and trekking destination.
