The Kalash Festival is a cultural festival which is held in the district Chitral the northern region of Pakistan annually. The Kalash people are an indigenous minority community in Pakistan. They celebrate their own culture and traditions during the festival which is held in August. A number of cultural activities are featured at the Kalash Festival, including displays of handicrafts, performances of traditional music and dance, and food stalls offering regional fare. In addition, there will be cultural walks, camping, and other outdoor pursuits during the event. The Kalash people, who have a unique language, religion, and social structure, hope to maintain and promote their rich cultural history through this celebration.
