The Gilgit-Baltistan region in northern Pakistan hosts the Silk Route Festival annually which is a cultural celebration. The Silk Route Festival held in September which honours the historic Silk Road trade route that linked China to the Mediterranean takes place in September. A wide range of cultural events are featured at the Silk Route Festival including traditional music and dance performances, handicraft displays, and food stalls serving regional fare. The festival also includes trekking, camping, and other culturally related activities. The Silk Route Festival highlights the vast diversity of cultures and heritage found in Gilgit-Baltistan. Which is defined by its unique combination of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Central Asian customs. Visitors can watch traditional dances like the well-known Balti dance and take in music performed on ancient instruments like the sarangi and rubab. The festival has sporting events in addition to cultural ones, such as traditional wrestling matches, polo matches, and shooting contests. Additionally, the region is home to numerous historical sites, including Buddhist rock carvings and old Silk Road trading facilities. The Gilgit-Baltistan local communities and the Pakistani government jointly organize the Silk Route Festival to make sure everything goes ahead without any issues. Through scheduled trips provided by Pakistani tour providers Khosar Gang Adventure, tourists can take part in the festival. Drive To Gilgit, en route stop at Shatial Rock Carving, Nanga Parbat View Point and Junction Point of Three great Mountain Ranges in the world (Himalaya, Kakorum & Hindukush). O/N stay in hotel.
Explore the charm of festival in Gilgit, visit bazaar, walk on the river side oad, suspension bridge and in the afternoon watch the Polo Match.
Drive to Hunza along the Hunza River. En route stop to for photography and view panoramic villages and Rakaposhi view point. O/N stay in hotel.
Full day exploration of hunza, includes, sunrise and sunset view at Duikar, Baltit Fort, Walk along the water channel and meet local People (Hunzukuts) The long age people on earth to know the secret of longevity . Overnight stay at hotel.
Drive to Gulmit, visitGulmitMuseum. O/N stay at hotel.
Full excursion to Khunjerab border (Pakistan&China).
Drive to Gilgit.
Fly to Islamabad/Drive to Besham.
